La Fundación Runnymede College ha anunciado hoy (26/02/2025) el lanzamiento de la II Convocatoria de Becas, una oportunidad única dirigida a estudiantes interesados en cursar su carrera universitaria en una de las instituciones más prestigiosas del Reino Unido. La iniciativa fue presentada oficialmente en el Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas en un evento que contó con la participación de destacadas autoridades locales.
El acto de presentación tuvo lugar en el Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas y reunió a la Alcaldesa de la ciudad, Rocío García Alcántara; al Concejal de Educación, Fernando Martínez Rodríguez; a la Directora General de Educación, Celia Garcia; y a los representantes de los institutos públicos del municipio. Durante el evento, se expusieron los detalles de esta convocatoria, que tiene como objetivo principal proporcionar a los estudiantes de Alcobendas la oportunidad de acceder a una educación de calidad en el Reino Unido.

Fundación Runnymede College Launches Second Series of Scholarships for Alcobendas Students to Study at Top UK Universities
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the second series of scholarships offered by Fundación Runnymede College, giving students from public secondary schools in Alcobendas the chance to study at some of the best universities in the United Kingdom.
Today (26/02/2025) we had the privilege of meeting with the heads of the five public secondary schools in Alcobendas at a special event held at the Town Hall. We were honoured to have the Mayor of Alcobendas, the Councillor for Education, and the Director of Education join us for the meeting, offering their full support for this exciting initiative.
During the meeting, we presented the scholarship opportunity to the Heads of the local secondary schools, emphasising the potential impact these scholarships could have on their students. The Fundación Runnymede College scholarships are designed to help students from Alcobendas gain access to top-tier universities in the UK, promoting academic and personal growth while offering an incredible opportunity to develop their futures.
